Konfigurasi Repository Ubuntu 14.04

Untuk dapat mengunduh paket aplikasi dari repository lokal, kita perlu mengonfigurasinya supaya mengarah ke repository yang ada di sekolah. Dalam hal ini alamat repositori-nya adalah http://123.123.123.123. Langkah-langkahnya sebagai berikut :

  sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list

Kemudian tambahkan tanda pagar (#) pada setiap baris yang mengarah pada repositori online. Contohnya seperti ini :

Tambahkan baris berikut di bawahnya :

deb http://123.123.123.123/ubuntu trusty main universe multiverse restricted partner

Lalu simpan dengan menekan tombol Ctrl+X, Y, dan Enter. Selanjutnya kita perlu mengunduh daftar paket yang ada di repository. Caranya dengan mengetikkan perintah :

  sudo apt-get update

Jika tidak ada yang error, kita sudah dapat menginstall paket aplikasi yang kita perlukan. Misalnya :

  sudo apt-get install bind9

Sampai di sini konfigurasi Repository sudah selesai.
